Engagement Session {Brittney & Andy}

Today we are featuring another fun engagement session staring Brittney and Andy! I love the creative use of the ampersand symbol…super hot! And how about those amazing shots in the rain?! For some reason rain just seems to have a naturally romantic feel to it and I love how the mood was captured by Linda Mattson and Lindsay Hagblom from Elle Photography!

How the couple met…

“Andy and I became friends while attending Taylorsville High School.  We would hang out in the same group of friends and actually Andy had dated about every one of my girlfriends.  During the first two years of school we never had any classes together, but finally by our senior year Andy and I had two classes together. This is when we began talking and flirting more, we really hit it off.  What seem like forever, but actually only a few months, he finally asked me out on our first date to a movie.

Since the first date we have been together, which has now been over 4 years.  Shortly after high school Andy served a LDS mission in Lima Peru. This meant that for 2 years our only communication was letters and two phone calls.  When the time for him to return came, I was so nervous picking him up at the airport, because it was like starting all over again and I wanted him to like me again, because I still did.  Which brings us to now, a little more than a year later, we are getting married on August 28th.  We are a perfect fit and he is my best friend.  I don’t know if there is such a thing as soul mates or if two people are meant to be together but I think Andy and I are about as close as it can get.”
