Bride & Groom: Rad & Emily Gladfelder
How you met: I was working part time as a receptionist at a car dealership and Rad worked next door at Renegade Sports. Word on the street, as Rad puts it, there was a new receptionist next door that he just had to meet. So after work, he came by my desk with a friend to meet me…and completely chickened out of introducing himself. He said he was intimidated by me and couldn’t bring himself to say hello. Of course, his friends that told him to come over to meet me, showed me his texts saying he was too scared. I just laughed. The next day he came right up to my desk and asked me to go, “night riding”. Being from California I said, “You want me to get on a snowmobile, in the dark, up in the mountains, with you on a first date? I don’t even know you! No thanks.”
We settled for dinner. The rest is history.
How he proposed: I was at Rad’s house and he popped in a movie. When he turned off the lights, the ceiling read “Will you marry me?” in glow in the dark stars. Then he called our puppy over and my ring was on his collar! It was so cute. I loved that it was in the privacy of his home, with our puppy and a fun movie.

Most memorable moment for the bride: Eating dinner with my close friends and family. I loved our reception because it was just one big party where we were able to socialize and relax once we arrived. Rad and I were laughing so hard that he managed to launch his filet mignon across the table on my bridesmaid’s dress. I have never laughed so much in my life!
Most memorable moment for the groom: Walking out of the temple with my new wife. She looked beautiful on our wedding day and it was such a great feeling to come out to a crowd of family and friends that were excited for us.

Photography: Captured by Mikki *Ok seriously she was my favorite vendor. She spent nearly four hours shooting my bridals & fixed my train when Rad ‘accidentally’ stepped on it on our wedding day. She paid attention to every little detail. She and her husband are so talented! My wedding day would not have been the same without her.
