Bold and Geometric Patterns:
Go bold or go home! Chunky designs and geometric patterns are a huge trend right now. I’m still seeing tons of damask patterns which I love, but they are mixing it up with geometric shapes to create the ultimate modern-chic composition. I’m super in love this style and obsessed with the modern fonts and monograms pared with damask flourishes. To really get an over the top contemporary look, add a matching patterned envelope liner in a bright color! This look would work well with most color pallets and would be perfect for any season.
This style is defiantly super popular right now and one of my most requested design concepts for so many great reasons. It’s a combination of vintage details such as typewriter fonts and whimsical tree branches, birds and butterflies. This style is perfect for a spring or summer outdoor wedding and can easily be changed around to fit a more casual backyard wedding or an upscale formal canyon ceremony. Get in touch with nature by doing silhouette tree branches for the perfect fall affair!
This design style is a great combination of many design elements. I love flourish designs and patterns because it brings in the bold pattern look with a slight vintage sophistication. Flourish designs can be very universal and coordinate with many different event styles. Large monograms pared with great flowing organic designs is perfect for a classic traditional soiree or a modern celebration.
Bright Color Pallets:
The usage of bright color combinations makes for a fun and inviting invitations! I’m seeing tons of peacock blues paired with bright yellows, greens and oranges to create an exciting atmosphere. Bright colors and designs for sure give off a more youthful vibe but it doesn’t mean that you can’t still have formal and sophisticated undertones. Go for a more simple design and monogram to create a perfect balance of fun and classy. To complete this look colored envelopes with adorning custom stamps are a must!
Large Floral Blooms:
Flowers have been a forever trend with designs and invitations and will never go out. If you are looking to change things up and do a twist on the traditional floral motifs opt for large vintage blooms and blossoms. This style creates a very romantic and elegant feel while not being to stuffy. This style would be perfect for a spring or summer event and would work beautifully with any color pallet. Add a little extra detail with a belly band and monogram seal.
Elegant and Glamorous:
High fashion and glamorous events is where I see the trends are heading. Think hints of old Hollywood glamor, mixed with a fabulous evening event. I’m in love with classic elegant detailing and ornamental scroll designs pared with the perfect calligraphy script. This look would work for any wedding season and is sure to cause a stir with it’s timeless approach. You can really glam things up by adding rhinestones and metallic stocks.
Metallic stocks and ink colors are always popular and timeless and I’m completely obsessed with this look. It is super elegant and glamorous but also very hip and stylish. Your guests will feel like they are invited to the IT party of the season when they receive and invitation with this much glitz and glam! Get creative by mixing silver tones and gold tones together and don’t be afraid to go over the top! Metallic pallets are perfect for a fall or winter event and will for sure make a statement in a big way!
