Elizabeth & Brian: Floral Wedding Feature

Today one of our own florists here on UBB shares with us the floral lovely backyard walk down the aisle that Elizabeth and Brian shared last summer. Thanks to Sarah Winward at Honey of a Thousand Flowers for showing us again how its done! We love a good wedding feature on Friday that showcases the most lovely aspect of a wedding {besides the bride of course} the blooms!

Here is what Sarah had to say about this lovely affair: The beauty of this wedding was in its simplicity. It was a backyard wedding with only 65 guests, it was not overdecorated or themed, just a happy event for close friends and family to attend. I absolutely loved working with the family and friend who put together the wedding, they were sweet, laid back, and happy.

For the flowers we went with a darker version of the popular peaches and pinks. I wanted the flowers to look natural outside in the yard so I incorporated lots of foliage and deeper earthy colors with soft pinks and peaches. The centerpieces were in footed terra cotta bowls  and there were sprigs of thyme at each guest’s place setting.
