Today we have a gorgeous flower Friday real wedding feature from one of our own preferred florist’s here at UBB, Blossom Sweet. The artistic works of Melissa Nickle never disappoint and always compliment Utah bride’s quiet well, including Noelle. Aria Photography so generously shared these images with us and Melissa offers us some insight into the florals for this wedding.
One of our absolute favorite styles to bring to life for our clients is based on a romantic, feminine look combined with a touch of rustic earthiness. The juxtaposition of those two worlds never ceases to combine in an utterly delicious harmony! And that harmonic blend was what this wedding was all about.
We begin with a very romantic palette including shades of soft pink and ivory, with accents of natural green and brown. The textures and colors of the flowers themselves lend to a soft, delicate look, yet by introducing a subtle infusion of elements such as burlap, birch vase wraps, branches, and pods we see the perfect balance between femininity and the stunning mountain atmosphere that is Sundance.
Flowers used in our designs: blizzard roses, geraldine roses, hydrangea, tulips, bi-color ranunculus, dahlias, berzelia, lisianthus, babies breath, scabiosa pods, veronica, mums, and spray roses, with accents of hanging amaranthus, pittosporum, silver dollar eucalyptus, dusty miller, and curly willow.
