Flower Friday: Jessica & Matt Wedding Feature

These two love birds chose Utah last summer as their destination for their mountain nuptials, at one of our prime wedding resorts, Sundance. It served as an ideal location situated between their two families in Colorado and Las Vegas. Jessica and Matt wanted their venue to set the mood with the sound of the river and nature that surrounding them, an organic comfortable feel. Jessica loved her bouquet {as likely most of you feasting your eyes upon it will} and felt that the creative works of Sarah Winward really tied her event all together.

A bit from Sarah on the floral design behind this gorgeous wedding … “Jessica wanted a natural and easy feeling color palette that was too dominant on any color, but had accents of chambray blue, oranges, and peach.  We brought in lots of different textures in the foliage, I used a huge mix of things ranging from fern to oak leaves, eucalyptus, and wild grasses. The bouquets were my favorite, they felt perfectly appropriate for a late summer wedding at Sundance.  The main flowers used were garden roses, zinnia, and dahlias.

Jess and her mom collected lots of old bottles for the tables that we put small arrangements or single buds in.  We kept the tables really simple and let the beautiful  environment around Sundance speak for itself. Jessica and Matt were incredible easy going and fun to work with, and I think that showed through in the flowers, and the entire event.”
