When we initially came upon this gorgeous wedding we knew it was a perfect flower Friday feature. The floral’s are stunning, romantic, soft & subtle, yet striking & profound! Sarah Winward’s talent for composing designs really sings through in these images! Thanks Sarah for sharing this gorgeous wedding with us! Here is what Sarah had to say about the flowers ….
“The bride Stacey wanted something that would feel organic since the wedding was outside at Millcreek Inn. That was achieved through the arranging, it was very loose and I let the flowers speak for themselves. She wanted some color, but doesn’t like colors that have high contrast with each other. So we chose for soft pink and peach garden roses and peonies, and mixed them with a whole slew of other gorgeous summer flowers in soft toned colors. I used a mix of vintage silver containers for all of the table arrangements. Some were teapots, some were compotes, some were actually vases etc.”

I was the day of coordinator for Stacey and Eric, and I have to say that not only did Sarah create incredibly lovely arrangements, she also very obviously focused on the bride, Stacey, and captured her style perfectly. Several times throughout the night I heard the comment: “This LOOKS just like Stacey!”, which is honestly the best compliment that I can imagine for a florist!
