We have been beyond excited to share a new editorial inspiration addition we have started this year on the blog. We will be organizing four seasonal wedding inspiration shoots with our preferred vendors to showcase the new trends in flowers, fashion, details and tons and tons of incredible eye candy paired with expert advice on how to achieve that look. So get ready each season to be blown away with some fresh ideas and beautiful images!
We are starting things off this week with our Spring Garden Wedding Inspiration Shoot! The theme for this shoot was spring garden elegance with some whimsical touches of butterflies and bird nests. We used shades of peaches, terracotta, yellow, green and robin egg blue for our colorful pallet. The spring weather in Utah can be pretty unpredictable and hard to plan around. If you dream of an outdoor garden wedding you can still create the same atmosphere and ambiance indoors with the right planning and details. By using tons of romantic blooms, colorful vases, floral patterned napkins, birds-nest plate chargers and wooden farmhouse tables and benches, you are sure to create the ultimate spring garden look that is bright and cheery!
The venue location we shot at couldn’t be more beautiful or fitting for the look and feel we wanted. We chose to shoot at the Memorial House in Salt Lake City and just fell in love with the french doors and terracotta shutters that opened up to the stunning patio where guests can take in the sweeping views of Memory Grove Park and relax under the shade of large umbrellas. The historic charm of the Memorial House, coupled with the amazing elegance and beauty of Memory Grove Park makes for an ideal choice for a spring and summer wedding.
The super talented and darling Mikki Platt shot this inspiration wedding for us and we can’t even begin to tell you all how incredible her team is to work with! Mikki is the nicest person you will ever meet and her work is just breathtaking. We are in love with her classic and clean style with a fresh and romantic approach. She has an amazing way of posing her couples that looks so natural and lovely! It’s always a delight to look at her work!

How pretty! I love the hints of spring inspiration that add to the shoot rather than overwhelm it- the fun birdie table number holder, the escort card nest, the chargers and the little robin’s eggs in a beaker… adorable! The bride is stunning and her gown is perfect! Great work UBB & team!
