Oh Happy Monday! Hope everyone is enjoying a little sunshine! Today we are sharing Camille & Dave’s rustic chic destination wedding at the stunning Park City Waldorf Astoria.
“Aspen was important to incorporate throughout their wedding, so we custom built the aspen alter which overlooked the mountains of Park City. Camille had commented on the skies being a beautiful blue with cotton ball clouds to make everything look more spectacular. Aspen cones hung on ceremony chairs while table tops were adorned with potted succulents wrapped in aspen bark and wooden boxes were tied with heart shaped aspen table numbers. Camille and Dave loved the theme of a rustic vintage wedding. The bride and her niece hand made the burlap and lace table runners. We used milk glass vases, wooden boxes, twine wrapped boutonnieres, lace wrapped bouquets, among specific flower selections to achieve this. The incorporation of tropicals was important as well, so we used different orchid varieties and pincushion proteas through out all the bridal party flowers and centerpieces. Camille’s bouquet was one of my most favorite elements; she engraved three heart shaped jewelry pieces with her and Dave’s initials, wedding date, and favorite quote which would later be worn as a necklace. We loved designing their flowers and are grateful for the opportunity we had to share in their special day. We wish Camille and Dave the best of luck on their newlywed journey!” – Calie Rose

The aspen structure is quite stunning and the flower cones are lovely:) Nice work Calie!
What a beautiful wedding and that cake look almost too perfect, I’d be afraid to cut it
Super, super pretty.
Why what a beautiful bride! And what beautiful flowers – I just LOVE how you combined the tropical flowers that Camille loves with rustic and seasonal flowers that are so perfect for Colorado – that’s a tall order and it all came together so beautifully! It’s not every day you see pincushion protea with birch!
durh – meant Utah, not Colorado, obviously -this is Utah bride blog I’m on, huh?! ; )
Beautiful wedding! Great details!
Thanks for the kind words! Vicki, thank you for the aspen cone tip:) This was such a beautiful wedding to design and loved every bit of it…Thanks for the feature UBB!
