Flower Friday: Fall Floral Inspiration

All of us here at UBB are anxious for fall to arrive, it’s most often quoted as a favorite time of year for many in Utah! Some of you love it so much the ideal time to get hitched is while the leafs are changing and falling and the air is crisp and scented! So today we asked our florists to share with us some of their favorite fall floral, its enough to send you off with an Autumn aura! Have a great long weekend!

bloomsandblossomsThis first bouquet comes from Kelli at Blooms & Blossoms as well as RLT Photography. Kelli used mango callas, blue thistle, bay leaf, light blue hydrangea, orange roses, Scabiosa pods and succulents to create this fall beauty!

This gorgeous array of bouquets is from Blossom Sweet &Mikki Platt. Here is what Melissa had to say about these floral designs: Oh how we love fall events!  We designed a gorgeous one at Red Butte Garden last October, and the bouquet from that event is one of our all-time favorites.  The bride actually came to us without a palette in mind and was very open to our suggestions.  And we love how it turned out!  We went for a palette of buttercream, lavender, plum, terracotta, peach, and green with small hints of ivory.  The bride’s bouquet was the showstopper of the event and was captured beautifully by the talented Mikki Platt Photography.  It incorporated all of the wedding colors, which looked outstanding next to the bridesmaids’ bouquets which we kept simple using only buttercream stock and greenery.  What a beautiful bridal party!

Flower specifics:  stock (2 varieties), dahlias, football mums, juliette garden roses, amaranthus, silver sage, scented geranium, roses, queen anne’s lace, hypericum, scabiosa pods, agonis, seeded eucalyptus, and veronica.

Sarah Winward & Jessica Peterson Photography grace us with this Autumn stunner! Here is what Sarah said about these designs: Tree peonies, oak leaves, and autumn texture. I like this color palette for fall. It feel rich and clean instead of wild like many autumn palettes do.

And this last one comes from Studio Stems & Vanessa Millecam. Here is what Audrey had to say about this gorgeous fall bouquet: This bouquet hails from a few years back but we thought we would share because it became a signature bouquet for us, one that many brides brought to us wanting us to replicate. It is a fall beauty made of sunflowers stripped of their bright petals, pods, antique hydrangea, dahlias in orange and dark burgundy, rust colored orchids, and curly willow!

LOVED this post! I’m super stoked for fall rolling in again and I especially love being able to put together (and smell!) arrangements that are just as beautiful as the season itself 🙂 It’s sad (but from what I’ve seen true) that some of the bolder fall seasons are a little more difficult to pull off and integrate into wedding planning/designs, but this post gave me such great ideas! loved it!
