Flower Friday: Groomal Flowers With Blossom Sweet

Today I {Melissa w/Blossom Sweet} am excited to share with you the recent groomals session of one of this month’s clients.  I first met with the bride, Megan,  in a consultation appointment a few months ago.  When she came to meet with me (entourage in tow), she had a color palette of red, black, ivory, and gold.  While there’s nothing inherently wrong with that color scheme, during our conversation about her event I really felt she would be open to a more unconventional palette and something a little more daring and unexpected.  And as one who is not shy when it comes to sharing my opinion, I made a suggestion for a new palette combining burgundy, coral, fuchsia, and peach with hints of ivory, eggplant and gold.  She jumped on the bandwagon and was excited about the new direction.  And so was I!  In the end I am so glad we made the change because her designs turned out incredibly and really shaped the vibe of her big day.

Now that you know where the concept came from, enjoy these incredible photos by Gideon Photography showcasing both her gorgeous bouquet as well as a flower crown that’s just sweet-as-can-be!
