Flower Friday: Orchard Blooms, A Swing, & A Bride

Happy Friday! We have a blossoming spring bridal shoot full of flowers to show you today! The beautiful thing about seasons is the change in environment and with each one comes so much individual beauty. Blossoming trees are among the most beautiful characteristics of spring here in Utah so it is no surprise that a good deal of brides aim to find themselves frolicking in their white gowns among the blossoming trees of an orchard, as Janelle so did!

Here is what her florist Emily from Wedding Flowers by Emily had to say about her bouquet: I was trying at accomplish a vintage, romantic theme that is both full and fresh. I used various shades of pinks and greens to achieve this look and to enhance the spring blossoms surrounding Janelle.

And Joelle from Party Starters Events who also added floral to this shoot: For our swing, I intertwined Italian Ruscus vines, Seeded Eucalyptus, and baby’s breath to cover the swing’s ropes. I then added a few pink garden roses to bring a pop of color on the swing, and tied it all together! To create the crown, I chose different shades of pink garden and cabbage roses for the focal point. I used light pink snapdragons stems and blossoms to cover the crown base. I then included baby’s breath to fill in the spaces between the flowers. Wrapped all together in floral tape, everything was then securely fastened onto the crown. I definitely think that in addition to the wonderful locations and photo props from Alyssia, the combination of flowers and blooms on her floral crown, bouquet, and swing added that very romantic, dreamy, and fresh look we were hoping for and dreamed of for this magical evening!

Thanks for sharing with us Emily, Joelle, and thanks to Alyssia B Photography!
