Its recipe Friday!!! Today Ashley with Tinge floral joins us with a look at some cute little bouts and corsages, and we love their dainty loveliness! Boutonniere’s and corsages are traditional standard wedding floral but they often get over looked when we are focusing on flower posts! What a great refresher on this little floral wedding detail! Thanks Ashley and thanks to Kate Osborne for shooting this for us!
Personal flowers are a sweet detail that shouldn’t be forgotten on the wedding day. Here are a few examples of boutonnieres as well as a corsage for the important family members and friends in your life.
A corsage/boutonniere, I believe, should not bring back haunting memories of your high school prom but should be simple and elegant. They should compliment, never distract. I like to keep the ribbon simple, and the size small.
Here I’ve used vibrant summer berry tones like deep plums and bright corals that really pop on neutrals.
Blooms: Ranunculus, Mock Orange, Scabiosa, Chipendale garden spray rose, Blue Viburnum Berry
