It is wedding Wednesday and we have a beautiful late winter Salt Lake Hardware Building wedding to share! A venue that is highly sought after in the SLC area, a great indoor selection anytime of year but especially in the winter! This wedding boasts an amazing vendor team as well, which creates the sum of one beautiful wedding! Thanks to Heather Nan Photography for sharing to Events by LMG for great planning & design, and the likes of these many others: Studio Stems, Culinary Crafts, Pink Piggy Design, and Layers Cakes.
Jenn & Jr have ties to Utah and some family here, but the two of them come from other cities and now reside in NYC where Jenn was living prior to and during their courtship! Making this somewhat of a destination wedding. We love it when couples chose our great state as the place to create a big day! We also have a warm place in our hearts for Jenn’s perspective of how the two met!
In a city of 8 million people, JR and I met by chance. Actually, that’s completely not true, but it sounds magical! We had a mutual friend who asked me to have dinner with JR because he was in New York City on a business trip over the weekend and didn’t know anyone. It was an instant attraction on JR’s side and while I was intrigued, I completely misjudged him, assuming that a guy who spent more time on his hair in the morning than I did was not worth my time. And yet JR kept calling and we talked for hours and it was easy and meaningful in ways we both could not have imagined. Despite our 2,000 mile difference we managed to create something profound and lasting over hours of phone calls, weekend transcontinental excursions and heartwrenching goodbyes. Our love works because love is hard but love gives back more than expected. And in our new life together in a city of 8 million people, there’s no one else I’d rather work and love through life with.
