The idea for this shoot came when the hair & make-up stylist, Stephanie Brinkerhoff, saw her grandmother’s wedding dress. She kept it in her cedar chest all these years, and now it looked more beautiful than ever! Not only did she wear this dress on her wedding day in the 1940′s, but it was passed down to Stephanie’s mom, who also wore it when she got married. It’s 100% pure silk, a true vintage dress. Amber Weimer did an amazing job creating a soft, delicate look with these pictures. Kaitlyn was perfect for this look, too. The hair, make-up, dress and location all feel feminine, dainty and very 1940′s!
