Spring Garden Inspiration {Fashion & Beauty}

Hope everyone has enjoyed the beautiful Spring Garden Inspiration Shoot so far! We wanted to spend today talking about the up and coming fashion and beauty trends and provide you with more incredible detail shots and advice from the experts!

THE DRESS:
This stunning dress is from Alta Moda Bridal is a brand new design from Anne Barge. Created from layers of dotted net, this gown is both sweet and dramatic. Dots, as I see them, are one of the most feminine of all patters; delicate and charming, they lend themselves well to a Spring wedding. The cage veil was added to draw the eye up and gently end before the the dress gets full.

THE HAIR:
The Trends:
Romantic flirty updos as well as styles that are classy and clean and portray sophistication and luxury
The design for the shoot: Romantic waves swept back into a sophisticated up do with a modern kick
Favors: Any bride who wants a sophisticated look. Tender enough for a youthful bride yet chic enough for a modern wedding. Phenomenal on any face shape needing a little height. Not recommended for oblong face shapes or large foreheads as the updo will make the face and/or forehead look longer. Speak to a professional about how to make this look work for you if you have an oblong face shape. The triangular design peeking through the neck can be exaggerated to suit heart shape faces adding width at the chin. The design works beautifully with plunge necklines giving the illusion of length and height which pose sophistication and elegance.
Get the Look: Use a 3 barrel curling iron to curl all of the hair. Create a triangular section with the widest portion of the triangle at the forehead from temple to temple & have the triangle peak at the occipital bone (mid ear). Section off. Take the remainder of the hair and put into a loose pony tail at the peak of the triangle. With your fingers, separate the waves of the ponytail. Fold the hair underneath the ponytail in a triangular shape and pin into place. Release your triangle section and create a diagonal side part from the forehead to the top of the head. Backcomb for height and let remainder of the hair cascade over your pony tail.

THE MAKE-UP:
The Trends:
Bold colors specially for the lips
The Design for the Shoot: Natural eyes with neutral colors, soft pink cheeks, bold lips.
Favors: Brides wanting to give an updated look their bridal makeup design. Bold lips can work for anyone as long as the lip color chosen works with the features and undertones of the individual. While the trends call for bold colors, keep it modern by choosing to wear them either on lips or on eyes.
Get the Look:
Eyes- Apply a light beige color to the eyelid. A medium brown to the crease and slightly above the crease and a dark brown to the crease and blend together.  Focus your attention to detail in your liner application. Keep the line thin but strong and compliment the liner with false lashes.
Cheeks- it is most appropriate to use a color that matches the natural flush of the skin. Pinch the cheek to see your natural color and find a blush to match.
Lips – Don’t be afraid of color. Remember to pick a color that works with your tones. This season you can’t go wrong with pinks or corals.

Hair & Male-up is key to getting that polished look on your wedding day! The team at Enizio is incredible to work with and they know exactly how to enhance your natural beauty. It’s great to follow trends when picking out a makeup design and hairstyle that you want to wear for your wedding day but it is vital that you adapt the trends and styles to work with your features and personality in order to feel confident while embracing the trends.  If you are unsure as how to incorporate hair and makeup trends with your overall look, hire a professional.  After all is said and done, all that is left after your wedding day is the memories and the pictures. How you look goes down in history so keep that in mind when putting it all together.

THE TUX:
This dapper tuxedo is from Tuxedo Junction in Salt Lake and is the Black Premier by designer Jean Yves. The Premier is a single breasted tuxedo with satin edged peak lapels and flap pockets.  This tuxedo is a new style but is very traditional in its styling. The Premier is at the top of the line featuring super 100′s wool fabric and can be worn with single pleat or flat front trousers. We chose to go with a very classic and charming black tuxedo with accents of a peach vest and tie to bring in our spring pallet. For an even more sophisticated look go with a black vest and a little hint of color with the tie. Either look is smashing for a spring fling!

THE JEWELRY:
In selecting the pieces for this springtime inspiration shoot, we wanted to complement the whimsical romance of peach garden roses, soft silk tulle and pink lemonade while also showcasing the current trends in the Utah engagement market. For our bride and groom, we chose pieces from Morgan Jewelers’  exclusive “Love Story” line, elegantly crafted and completely customizable. The blushing bride is wearing a pave-set diamond halo engagement ring with a matching band; timeless, yet memorable. The unique elevated setting allows each facet of the one-quarter carat, round brilliant-cut diamond to sparkle and gleam. Its delicate, vintage glamour resembles a flower surrounded by petals, perfect for our spring bride. Our favorite pearl drop earrings softly frame her face, while strands of pearl bracelets dangle daintily from her wrist, adding a soft, feminine touch.

The groom’s white gold band is accented with grooves on each side, a style trending with many of Utah’s betrothed gentlemen. This style is masculine, without being overbearing or heavy. Many grooms are also sporting contemporary black bands, and bands made from alternative metals, such as tungsten.

Gone are the days of the cookie-cutter carat, as brides of every season are seeking unique rings that represent their individual personalities and courtship. Morgan Jewelers’ exclusive “Love Story” line allows each couple to create a design that will continue to enchant them from spring to spring.

We wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all the fabulous and talented vendors who have helped contribute to our Spring Fashion editorial feature today! You are the ones that make us all look so great on our wedding day!
