Happy Monday! We sure hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend full of cheer, family and food! We are going to finish this last week of 2011 off with our best of picks for the year! Today we will start things with our favorite engagements sessions:
Megan’s Pick:
I absolutely adore Brianna and Kyle’s engagement session by the talented Julie Parker Photography. It’s no secret that I love a stylish and well dressed couple… taking the time to plan and coordinate your attire really goes a long way! I love these images because they are fresh and simple and will forever be timeless. When deciding what you want to do for your engagements I think it’s important to do something that you will love 50 years from now and something that is unique to the two of you. Fun details can add a lot of character to your images, but make sure to keep them subtle and a true representation of your relationship!
Audrey’s Pick:
My favorite this year was Nichole & Anthony’s cowboy engagement by David Newkirk Photography. We get a lot of engagement submissions here at UBB so we see a lot of couples at this stage and though props that speak to the personality of the couple can sometimes work really well, I felt like this particular engagement exuded the reality of who these two are together and felt so natural and not at all staged. Kind of a refreshing change, it feels like a day on the farm with the two of them. On top of that there is just something so romantic about a cowboy!
