UBB Best of 2012 {Flower Friday}

We love flowers here at UBB and often times when it comes to publication if the blooms dont rock its hard to consider publishing. This detail is especially pertinent to the aesthetic outcome of your event! A detail that deserves a good deal of attention and a great event florist. {We have a few here on the blog in our preferred vendor section, just FYI!} We hope you have enjoyed our favorites week and that this week as also been merry and bright as you have celebrated the traditions that befall us all this time of year. It has been a great year for us and we are looking forward to an even better 2013! Thank you for sharing and reading!

Audrey’s pick:
Picking my favorite Flower Friday is even harder than picking any other favorite because this discipline is my own specialty and my eye is that much more keen and interested. We had some incredible blooms on the blog this year! I also love that we support local 100% here in this category, all of the talent published on those Friday’s comes from Utah. This year my favorite came from a simple inspiration shoot orchestrated by Sarah Winward @ Honey of a Thousand Flowers and Kate Osborne Photography. In Sarah’s own backyard these two created some staged inspiration floral focused that is hard to resist. The color is powerful and ethereal  with some organic nature and strong tone it speaks to the earth and creates just the right amount of bridal glamour. Not to mention who doesn’t love a peony or two?!

Megan’s pick:
One of my favorite local florists is Blossom Sweet! I can spot her over-sized bouquets from afar and am obsessed with her lush style. I’m all about the big big bouquets! I love the flowers in this Sundance wedding because they are romantic and feminine with a touch of rustic earthiness. The combination of these styles never ceases to amaze me and is simply gorgeous! I really like how Melissa used accents and textures like burlap, birch, branches and pods that harmonized with the stunning mountain atmosphere. Aria Photography did a fantastic job capturing these delicious flowers!
