UBB + Magazine Summer Editorial | Paper Goods

The first thing your guests see from your wedding is the invitations so you want them to set the mood for your special event. Today we are sharing the paper details from our summer editorial shoot designed by the amazingly talented Annie Mertlich of Wild Field Paper Co. We seriously can’t stop swooning over this sweet that lends to the moody vibe perfectly!

“For this invitation suite I wanted to incorporate an elegant feel but also an earthy organic touch! I started the design with a wreath on the main invitation and let the rest of the suite tie into that, carrying the styles of the wreath into both the menu design and the calligraphed envelope. Handmade paper is very popular in weddings right now so I new I wanted to incorporate that into the suite. I used the handmade paper on the RSVP card and the place cards to give the suite an overall organic touch. I dip-dyed each paper by hand with watercolor to give them a unique but cohesive look. The envelope is the first thing your guest will see for your wedding, so I did an elegant calligraphy to compliment the fun vintage stamps for a beautiful preview of the invitation inside!”
