Happy Flower Friday and our favorite of all posts! We are rapping up this beautiful week of “glamping” features with some gorgeous floral details brought to you by the talented Kelli Dabling with Blooms and Blossoms!
“When I first received the color palatte for The UBB Summer Editorial Shoot I was thrilled. I loved the idea of using the bright jewel tones against the more neutral base colors. I was also excited about the idea of mixing glam with camping and the great outdoors. The floral designs were really important in making this shoot feel glamorous, in a natural way. I used popular and sought after flowers in our arrangements but allowed them to be a little bit wild without a ton of structure.
The bride’s bouquet is always very important to me. It really helps set the mood of the entire event. Each guest will see the bouquet and it stands as a major focal point. It will also be in many photographs if not the majority so it’s important that it makes a statement and acts as a gorgeous accessory to an even more gorgeous bride. I wanted to make sure the bouquet didn’t feel too stuffy. I really wanted it to act as an accent and bring in a pop of color to the beautiful mountain backdrop.
I absolutely loved the cake and cake flowers. I loved how wild and natural it looked. The bright colors really popped out against nature and demanded a lot attention!”
