UBB Winter Shoot {The Video}

Today we are continuing on with our lovely Winter Wedding shoot and have something special to share! The team at Haugen Creative put together this amazing video to share some behind the scenes clips as well as more detail shots of our winter inspiration and gorgeous models! There is just something so amazing about video and the movement it can capture! Take it away Trevor with Haugen Creative…

“Our grandparents were married in 1938 and they have a 4×4 black and white photo to prove it. If I could jump in a time machine, how much would I be willing to spend to completely capture that day? To see them young and vibrant without a care in the world, to capture the time- the old cars, the styles, how they look at each other and laugh… Who would I hire to bring along with me? I guess my point is, when deciding between whether to hire a professional or an amateur friend or family member, there’s more to consider than just the budget. While saving a few hundred bucks now feels like a big deal, whether you spend it today or not won’t matter too much twenty or thirty years from now. But the images and memories captured on your big day will still matter. They’ll matter a lot, and even more so as time moves on.”

“For a long while there was a dramatic difference in what you’d spend on a videography vs. photography and it made sense because video didn’t seem to last as long or be as easily accessible as photos. However, today you can literally hold video in the palm of your hand. Want to show them a photo of your fiancee or how about a video of you two together? Video has also now become HD, digital and as long-lasting as digital photos. Although professional photography is important, we feel that it cannot be compared or should ever compete with your decision to hire professional videographer for your big day. The way you move together, the way you laugh together, the little details of all the things that you love about each other- all in full motion and able to be played out forever. Those are just a few reasons why we feel videography should not be overlooked.”

  1. Oh, how I wish you would have posted her Grandma’s wedding as well. I would love to be inspired by something as cool and antique as a real 4×4 from her wedding!

    I agree completely with the above statements!!! I got married a couple years ago and of course hired a photographer ! I wasn’t even planning on hiring a video. Honestly I never even really thought about it. I went to one of my friends weddings and there was a video playing there from that very day! I just had to know who did it. It was amazing!! Better than any wedding video I had ever seen!
    Come to find out, it was done by the best videographer in the state and could be the world!! He films all over the works cause he’s that great!! None other than Chris McClain if Chris McClain Productions!! Sorry to rave so much but really, he IS the best.
    My pictures are in a box somewhere in our attic, but our video goes with us everywhere!!! On our iPads, iPhones, and everything else. It’s the best thing from our entire wedding!! We show it to everyone!!
    Seriously, be sure to hire Chris McClain if he’s even available.
    His website is http://www.cmcclainproductions.com
