Wedding Inspiration Wednesday: Tying The Knot

We thought it was especially appropriate to bring you a little bit of wedding inspiration today because UBB will be on set shooting our summer editorial today creating wedding inspiration for you with a huge group of amazing vendors! Watch our social media for sneak peeks. We did not orchestrate this cute little Irish inspiration but it was darling enough to share!

Both the photographer {Veronica Benson} and the planner designer {Be My Guest Weddings} run Irish blood through their veins so when they decided to collaborate creatively for a shoot they felt no better theme that one with some Irish culture seeping through. Their theme “Tying the Knot” comes from the Irish and Scottish wedding tradition handfasting that ties the wrists of the bride and groom together. They shot this down in Provo at the old castle and orchard, we especially loved the gown and table set among intricate rock. Thanks for sharing with us ladies!

We loved the dress by Gateway Bridal and Prom in downtown SLC. They are amazing to work with and have a wonderful selection of dresses!

The correct name of the location is The Castle Amphitheater; it’s on the Utah State Hospital grounds in Provo and was built during the Depression. It is mainly used as a photography location year-round and theatrical performances during the summer.
