Ballet Inspired Wedding

Good morning! Today we have a stunning ballet inspired wedding styled by Ashley Lloyd with Attention 2 Detail Events and gorgeous photography by Rebekah Westover! I grew up doing a lot of ballet so I personally adore this themed shoot! For any brides who also grew up with the love to dance, this would make for a lovely and sentimental wedding theme! The lace dress from Alta Moda Bridal is utterly to die for!! Ashley shares a little bit about her vision behind the details:

“I was inspired by the romantic and feminine qualities that a ballet evokes, but still wanted to portray a sophisticated look, without taking the theme too far. I incorporated a satin ribbon hanging chandelier to represent tied ballet slippers and incorporated a soft pink and gold tulle runner on the table to resemble a tutu. Instead of using a traditional cake, I wanted to incorporate something that was soft and dainty. A three tiered crepe cake, topped with fresh raspberries and raspberry glaze, added a feminine and delicate touch. Hand painted invitations, soft candlelight, and french macaron favors all added to the romantic elements of this theme.”

    Hi!

Lovely photos! Which designer did the attire? I see it was from Alta Moda, but I mean, more specifically? How do I find that dress?

    Kind regards, Nina

  3. Lovely inspiration shoot. I’m loving the return to romance in bridal fashion and wedding trends!
