If you are a local bride planning a wedding then lets hope you have a copy of this gorgeous mag! This recently released issue is full of local talent and inspiration. Inside you will find a few pages of staged wedding table inspirations, including one particularly cute polka dot dream! Orchestrated by the two owners of UBB Audrey O’Brien & Megan Bailey! We couldn’t help but share a bit more from this shoot with you!
Turn to page 86 and you will find a delicate little black, white, and pink feature on the pattern we were assigned, “spot on.” Advice for keeping dots wedding appropriate .. “Select smaller, more delicate polka dots for a refined and polished look. A black-and-white color palette accented with shades of soft pink fits the setting’s elegant aesthetic.”
Less is more when it comes to spots and weddings, you can see that more often than not the implementation is in the details and the subtle items, even still our overall table scheme holds three large dots, black ones atop candlesticks housing gorgeous blooms of hydrangea, roses, ranunculus, anemones, veronica, and dusty miller. Though these are the largest dots used, subtlety is still the name of the game. Three frosted candle vases also are vaguely spotted for an extra detail that keeps the theme running and sets ambiance.
Cake pops themselves make pretty good little dots but all the better with small polka accents to create a custom treat to fulfill the theme. Adorned with a custom tag of course.
A lot of our dot accents were crafted in the fine paper products designed and produced by Megan. Custom menu’s, place card holders, and all other paper items carried a consistent theme of small black polka dots on white or pale pink backgrounds. Even the favor boxes carried the theme through.
Another quiet implementation, this gorgeous gown from Avenia Bridal composed of layer upon layer of dotted Swiss tulle! Subtle & stylish! The bouquet and flowers, crafted by Audrey, also represent a little bit of spot on with the use of the white anemone bloom with a dark black center. This unique and open bloom intrigues the eye and creates interest in what would otherwise be very traditional like arrangements.
We had a delightful time styling and producing this tabletop feature and we absolutely adore Salt Lake Park City Bride & Groom. Thank you much to the wonderful Tessa Woolf & Samantha Gardner for the opportunity! And a little shout out to all the contributing vendors that helped pull all the spot on details together!
