Today we are very excited to share this breathtaking winter bridal shoot photographed by Elizabeth Taylor Frandsen. This gorgeous bridal session is part of a series Liz created called Embracing Utah where she explores the diversity in natural beauty that Utah offers as a backdrop for wedding photos. We absolutely loved this idea and how it proves that it doesn’t have to be summertime to achieve beautiful bridal photos.
Here is what Liz had to say on the subject:
Utah brides need only drive a few hours in any direction to have full access to so many different scenic options. Mountains? Check. Water? We’ve got a lake or two. What about the Little Sahara sand dunes, the Alpine loop at its Fall peak, Moab’s red rocks, the salt flats, even Temple Square at Christmas time. As you can see, there are some decisions to be made. Which season best suits your wedding vision? Likely, it’s the one you’re getting married in. Within that seasonal time frame, what will be in full bloom or perhaps blanketed in white snow? Mother Nature is full of surprises, and each season she brings new challenges to the table. But with a little planning and an attitude of adaptability, you can easily insert yourself into so many beautiful and unique settings that will give you the photographs of your dreams and maybe your photographer’s too!
